As the possibility of a government shutdown looms, we at SHCC want to assure our residents, owners and agents that we will continue to work uninterrupted during the shutdown to deliver as seamless service as possible to our partners and stakeholders.

While shutdowns normally impact HUD operations more so than those of Contract Administrators, SHCC has successfully partnered and worked hand-in-hand with the HUD Fort Worth and Kansas City HUD offices in past shutdowns to minimize impact and will do so again. 

Monthly Housing Assistance payments (HAP) will continue as scheduled unless there is a property-specific funding shortfall, in which case SHCC will notify owners as quickly as possible if a HAP i s going to be delayed. As the situation develops, SHCC will continue to monitor developments and provide further information through this Listserv medium as needed.
