CGS Women's Group News!
Sunday SEPTEMBER 15
CGSW will host the Christmas Ornaments Painting Workshop to support the Stroll and Ginger Bread House Display and Fundraiser. This is new and a lot of thought and hard work have gone into it! Good Shepherd will make and sell wooden "gingerbread" ornaments to sell at the Nashua Holiday Stroll. Hopefully we'll have new designs every year and our friends and neighbors will make a tradition of collecting them just as they make a tradition of visiting our Gingerbread Village during the Stroll.
SO if you have a steady hand (and even if you don't) come to the painting workshop in the hall after the second service where you will find everything you need - unpainted ornaments, instructions and paint pens - to have fun and help the fundraising committee. For any questions please contact Mary O'Reilly at moreilly@cgsnashua.org or 603 424 2432.
CGS Women will provide the hospitality for both Coffee Hour and the Painting Workshop on September 15

As Episcopalians we celebrate several church seasons every year—Advent, Lent, Easter... Each season has one or more special liturgical elements. These differences help direct the flow of our worship and draw us closer to the season's theme. For example, in Easter (a time of redemption,) we leave out confession. In Advent we light candles and look to Christ as our light in the darkness.
This year, we join the wider church to introduce the "Season of Creation" which runs from September 1st to St. Francis Day, October 4th.
As with other seasons you will notice some variations in our worship service. These changes are drawn from resources provided by the Episcopal Church to help us deepen our relationship with God’s Creation. We look forward to worshipping with you this "Season of Creation."
