Play in our new Indoor Golf League! |
Our new indoor Trackman simulator, The Bunker, is up and running! Be the first to compete in The Bunker's first-ever winter indoor golf league. Teams of two will compete against each other each week for six weeks on selected 9-holes from top courses across the world. Best ball scramble format. Teams will pick a time each week to complete their round.

Kookie Spooky Candy Trail |
Journey along the Kooky Spooky Candy Trail to collect candy and prizes by visiting each interactive station along the trail. Costumes are encouraged!
This event will be held outdoors, rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

Scream Scene is still haunting Skokie! |
With it's chainsaw maniacs and insane clown maze, Scream Scene has been terrifying visitors since 1997. This year's haunted house features new characters, new sets and new scenes, bringing fresh horror to those who dare to enter!

Haunted Heritage: Cemetery Walking Tour |
Just in time for Halloween, get spooky with a St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Cemetery tour featuring some of Skokie’s local legends! Stroll through the cemetery to meet some of our friendly graveyard ghosts and hear their stories about Skokie's early days when the Village was still called Niles Center. Meet at the cemetery’s entrance on Harms Road. This is a casual, self-paced walk with stops at gravesites of interest. Please allow at least 45 minutes to complete the tour. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Drowsy Chaperone

Get ready for an evening of madcap delights! A winner of five Tony Awards, The Drowsy Chaperone opens with a man in a chair appearing on stage and putting on the cast recording of a fictitious musical. Then, the recording comes to life featuring two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone.

Spooky Greens Mini Golf

Through October 31, Skokie Sports Park's 18-hole Adventure (Mini) Golf Course will be decked out for Halloween, featuring a different theme on each hole AND candy for the kids!
At the 18-hole Traveler's Quest, visit some of the world's most iconic places, from the horrifying Eiffel Tower to chilling Antarctica to the terrifying Willis Tower, all the while playing through several scary water features and a creepy waterfall. Kids Quest offers a 9-hole course that is perfect for little ones. Each tee time is limited to 4 or fewer people.

Youth: Glow in the Dark Scavenger Hunt |
Work with your team on this exciting glow in the dark scavenger hunt. Clues will be hidden throughout Oakton Park for you to uncover on your race to 1st place. Bring your flashlights and we will provide the team with glow sticks. Pizza will be served inside the Oakton Community Center before the hunt. This is a drop-off staff supervised event.

Free! Celebrate Dia de los Muertos in Skokie! |
Enjoy this free 'Day of the Dead' celebration featuring music, crafts and la loteria! On the Dia De Los Muertos holiday, families create offerings to honor their departed family members. These offerings are believed to encourage visits from the land of the dead as the departed souls hear their prayers, smell their foods and join in the celebrations!
