The ND Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society will hold its annual meeting December 12th and 13th in Fargo, ND, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 4351 17th Ave. S., Fargo, ND 58103.
The conference has been titled, “Protecting the Soil: A Key to Resilient Cropping & Grazing Systems”. Conference organizers have assembled a talented speaker group of soil scientists, grassland managers, forage scientists, NRCS soil survey specialists, and an integrated crop-beef cattle systems specialist. Attendees will leave the meeting with a greater appreciation for regenerative management approaches that will improve soil system services, remediate saline and sodic soils, control erosion, and learn the impact of diverse crop rotations and the microbiome when integrated with beef cattle grazing.
