We at ACPE watched in horror and grief at the attacks in Israel on Simchat Torah this weekend. Our hearts go out to all who have been touched by this most recent wave of violence. Our prayers are with the innocent civilians, families, and communities impacted by this war. We pray for their safety, well-being, and the restoration of peace in the region. May the leaders and decision-makers involved be guided by wisdom, compassion, and a genuine commitment to finding peaceful resolution. Let us join together in prayer, fostering understanding and unite as we hope for a future where peace prevails in Israel and the Middle East.

Planting Seeds, Bearing Fruit

Each year when autumn rolls around, I reach for Parker Palmer’s “The Paradox of Fall.” Living in the northern US, there is a chill in the air that speaks of changes coming. Fall stirs my soul. Parker reflects:

Autumn is a season of great beauty, but it is also a season of decline: the days grow shorter, the light is suffused, and summer’s abundance...Read more
