Lucky Month with a New Book!

Hope you are safe and warm and doing one thing that will make you happy today. I was lucky enough to visit my grandkids and had to stop to take a picture at the airport. I am also so lucky that a book that I'm passionate about was released this month. I am honored that School Library Journal gave Never Give Up a starred review and said it is A first purchase for all biography collections!

March 25th

Excited to be back at the Southern Ky Book Festival this year. Children's Day is March 24th and everyone day is March 25th at the Knicely Conference Center at 2355 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42104 from 9-2. Admission is free. Lauren Tarshis will be one of the authors signing and I look forward to meeting her. Come by and say hi!

I'll be the children's author presenting at the Tennessee Mountain Writer's Conference in Oak Ridge, TN on March 30th-April 1st. I'll be giving two talks: Series Writing, as well as Hook and a Character. Hope you'll join us on a writing journey.

New Book! When I read an article about Dr. Kati Kariko and her forty year struggle to perfect a life-saving technology, I said someone should write a book about her. So I did! Hope you will enjoy reading a STEM picture book with heart, Never Give Up.

Need a little leprechaun fun this month? It was super getting letters from students in Taiwan saying they were enjoying the Bailey School Kids books. You never know where stories will take you! On March 28th at 3:30, I'll be in Severville, TN at the Sevierville Intermediate Literacy Night; and on the 29th, I'll be celebrating International Mermaid Day with the Halls Branch Library in Knoxville, TN; and on April 5th I'll be visiting Triton Elementary in Fairland, Indiana. Hope books take you someplace fun this month!
