THANK YOU!

The Teddy Bear Picnic last Sunday, July 9th, 2023 in Sunapee Harbor was a great success!

Well-loved Teddy Bears were patched up for another year of snuggles. Many enjoyed the entertainment. Teddy Bear Picnic will be the Sunday after the 4th of July - an annual tradition! See you next year!

It may be a bit of a spooky undertaking but…

The Haunted Harbor Halloween event is looking for new ownership! Project Sunapee has spearheaded Haunted Harbor Halloween for 10 years and now it is time to pass along the fun. Throughout the years, this evolving event included costume parades with photos and prizes, pumpkin carving contests, trunk or treating, graveyards with ghostly games, a hay maze, a haunted pirate ship, witches brew, fortune telling and more. Perhaps there is a group or collaboration of individuals that would like to delve into this spooktacular event loved by kids and parents alike? If you are interested, please contact info@projectsunapee.org. THANK YOU!

2023 Sunapee Recreation NYC Broadway Trip!

Saturday, August 12, 2023

Back for a return engagement, Sunapee Recreation will be going to NYC for a Broadway show! Last year's trip was such a success and we wish to do this again for the community by offering it on a weekend this year so that more can hopefully participate.

On Saturday, August 12, we will travel to New York City by bus to Broadway. To make the trip as affordable as possible, the experience will only cost $189. Transportation will be in the form of a coach bus that will leave Sunapee in the early morning and arrive back late the same night. Meals will not be included. Please note that this is an UNCHAPERONED trip. The Recreation Department is only responsible for you getting on the bus in Sunapee and getting back on the bus in NYC. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This year we plan to offer a choice of shows, 'Some Like it Hot' or 'New York, New York'. We must have a minimum of 10 people sign up for either of the shows to offer this option, so we ask for your preference, but please note that we may only have one option if we don't get the minimum for the other show.

To reserve your spot or for any questions please contact Jackson Scheele at jacksonscheele7952@gmail.com, by emailing Recreation@town.sunapee.nh.us, or by paying directly on this RecDesk site.

Payment can be made via the RecDesk website or by cash or check to the Town of Sunapee - Recreation at the town office. Payment must be received within 48 hours of reserving your spot, or your reservation will be offered up to the growing waitlist.
