Today’s product highlight will focus on CFR Standing Seam insulated roof panels designed for architectural/industrial buildings, along with temperature controlled facilities including cooler & freezer projects!
The CFR roof panel insulation is a composite all-in-one design developed to give consumers the edge of roofing technology with the standing seam of the CFR roof panel combining durable interior and exterior faces along with our unmatched polyurethane core. The CFR roof panel provides an unsurpassed weathertight seal and service life, along with compatibility with solar panels as seen in the picture above on the right. The panel can be used on roof slopes as low as 1/2″:12" making this a perfect fit for office building, schools, warehouses, and so much more. It's also ideal for the cold storage market due to our outstanding r-values! Metl-Span's CFR panels function as roofing for coolers, freezers, food processing buildings, Dry Goods Warehouses, and any all-controlled environment building where temperature control & insulation values are a necessity.

Model of ideal exterior Roof Panel
Above is the 3-D model of what a standard CFR roof panel exterior looks like. There are 3 different options when choosing the exterior face of the panel. There is G-90 galvanized, AZ-50 aluminum-zinc coated steel in 24 or 22 Ga, or the AZ-55 coated in 24 Ga. The Exterior Profile of the panel is a 2" high standing seam with a Mesa profile between the seams.
CFR Insulated Roof Panel

The picture above is the roof installation at Fulton Fish Market in Bronx, NY by Girandola & Shutkind Construction. They utilized the 42" wide CFR roof panel in 4" and 6" thickness. The color is Patina Green in a Kynar finish.
