Healthcare Wins Spring 2024 Registration Competition

Congratulations to the Healthcare Program Pathway for winning our Spring 2024 Registration Competition!

Healthcare registered the largest percentage of currently enrolled students for the spring semester before the end of the current fall semester.

Healthcare students on each campus will receive a pizza party on Monday, December 11.

Wheeling Campus: Noon - B&O Auditorium

New Martinsville Campus: Noon - Room 110

Weirton Campus: 1pm - Student Lounge

Academic Resource Center Offers Tools For Final Exams

Final Exams are already here and when stress triggers related to test taking show up, the ARC would like to offer a few helpful tips:

• Remember past successes.
• Put the test into perspective: how does it fit into the whole of your academic career?
• Use visualization exercises to picture yourself calmly taking and passing the test.
• Get a good night's sleep before the test.
• Reduce caffeine on the day of the test.

Early Registration for Summer Classes Begins Wednesday, December 13

Click here to look up and register for Summer Classes beginning at 9am on Wednesday, December 13. Summer term begins Monday, May 20.

Students can also reach out to an academic advisor with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Holiday Break - College Closed

Fri., December 22 (noon) - Mon., January 1

Happy Holidays! The College will close at noon on Friday, Dec. 22 - Jan. 1 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2.

Loan applications are done by semester. The spring 2024 application is now available.

Remember to read carefully! These can be returned to financialaidoffice@wvncc.edu, delivered to the Financial Aid Office, or to the Service Center on any of the three campuses.
