Guidon: Elevating Communities Through Sustainable Healthcare Projects

At Guidon, we are a leading sustainable architecture and engineering design firm committed to improving lives and empowering people. Since our establishment in 2011, our team of over 65 design professionals has been based in downtown Indianapolis, working on complex healthcare projects that have a positive impact on communities.

Our approach is simple: "Improving Lives + Empowering People®." We lead through listening® to our clients and guide the entire design process through effective communication. By thoroughly understanding your goals and needs from the start, we can deliver integrated, evidence-based solutions and optimized processes. What sets us apart is our commitment to long-term performance and sustainable operations. We collaborate closely with facility maintenance staff to ensure the success and longevity of our projects.

Through our subject matter expertise, we have brought cohesion to diverse projects, from a Women's Clinic in Saginaw, MI to a transplant hybrid OR in Kansas City, MO. By engaging end-users and stakeholders early in the design process, we ensure that their needs and perspectives are considered, leading to better outcomes.

Our data-driven formula focuses on the critical First 15% of the design process. This allows us to define goals early on and continually measure project success against these goals, ensuring that we stay on track and make any necessary adjustments before it's too late.

With a track record of successfully master planning hospital campuses, designing new construction and expansion facilities, and completing technically complex hospital renovations, over 70% of our planning and design work is in the healthcare sector.
