In May of 2024, it will be 11 years since Sam and I (Erin) took our first trip to Cambodia. In the last 11 years, our lives have changed drastically. While we have yet to move to Cambodia, we travel there 2x a year. During these trips, we check in on projects, minister to our staff members, and participate in outreaches. We make sure things are running as they should. Additionally, we speak with our staff at minimum once a week.
Mission 25 employs two full-time and four part-time staff members. In partnership with our staff, we have drilled 45 water wells. We have educated over 700 children. We have shared the gospel with over 10,000 people. We have helped to educate and train pastors and leaders in 5 different provinces. We have done a lot over this last decade.
As you know, life looks much different than it did four years ago. There have been shifts in the United States economy and, subsequently, the world economy. The cost of living, working, and ministering in Cambodia and the United States has increased. We have all felt the effects of this. This leads us to where we NEED YOU!
While our costs have increased in Cambodia, 2023 is the first year Mission 25 has experienced a dip in giving. We need an additional $5,000 in yearly giving. That works out to about $415/month. In the six years that we have been an organization, we have never once missed a payment or had to cut back on the programs and projects we support in Cambodia, and we don't intend to start.
About 90% of the donations that Mission 25 brings in go directly to Cambodia and our work. The other 10% goes toward bank fees, travel, and administrative costs (website, printing, merchandise, etc.)
YOUR partnership makes this happen. Please prayerfully consider joining us, and remember: Every little bit helps.
You can donate at mission25cambodia.org/donate (we have new ways to donate!) or by using the QR code at the bottom of this list of needs.
Thank you for considering Mission 25 in your giving.
