The Comfort of Tradition

My wife and I love the fall season. We have many family traditions built around this season. Football games, cider, apple picking, pumpkin carving, and pumpkin flavored everything. Traditions are a powerful tie to our memories as the years go by. And while these are our favorite traditions and I’m sure many of you share them, today I would encourage you to tie a devotional, worship song, or scripture passage with your fall traditions. It could look like reading a scripture before carving your pumpkins, listening to worship music as you bake fall treats, or praying over family members as you preserve the pounds of apples you’ve picked. Don’t miss an opportunity to spiritually lead your family well and your kids will surely remember these moments with you!
