Summer Camp Registration Spots Open!

We're so excited to have launched our camper registration for the 2024 Summer Season!

For any family hoping to enroll their child in an unforgettable summer experience full of memories and new opportunities, Camp Kawartha's Summer programs are a fantastic chance for campers to enjoy beautiful sunny days on Clear Lake!

We still have spaces available for campers of any age in our two-week sessions, Session B (July 7th - 19th) and Session D (July 28th - August 9th). Two-week sessions are a great chance for campers to enjoy all that camp life has to offer through our daily class sessions in Canoeing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Eco Skills, Archery, and more!

For campers looking to try camp for the first time with a shorter session, we have spots available in our 1-week session, Session F (August 18th - 23rd), and our three-night session, Session N (August 25th - 28th).

Meanwhile, we also have spaces available in some of our EC Summer Camp Sessions! These include:

  • Wild Clover, ages 4-6, with openings in weeks 1 and 6.
  • EC Day Camps, ages 7-12, with openings in most weeks.
  • Leadership Programs, ages 12-16, with openings from mid-July to late August.

Families can register their campers through our website or can inquire about registration and programs at office@campkawartha.ca !

Wastewater Management System Updates

Our wastewater system construction is complete! As of December 1st, our main site at 1010 Birchview Road will be back open and ready for visitors.

Our main site is currently looking fairly different, with a large new hill where there used to be a long, flat field of green grass. But rest assured, the Camp Kawartha grounds will be looking better than ever when we reopen for school groups, volunteers, and meetings in December.

As mentioned previously, the new septic system is the greenest permitted by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks. This upgrade helps us towards our net-positive water goal and our mission of Branching Out for a Sustainable Future. Meanwhile, the upgrades also ensure that CK can expand our capacity by 25%, reaching an extra 3,500 campers, students, visitors and workshop participants per year.

We look forward to greeting you soon at the newly improved and more eco-friendly site!
