Construction Update
Exit 16 DDI
DATE: Friday, October 13, 2023
TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION:
Starting Monday, October 16, through Friday, October 20, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., there will be intermittent lane closures of the outermost northbound and southbound lanes along U.S. 2/7 between Mountain View Drive and South Park Drive to facilitate punch list items. No more than a single travel lane will be closed in each direction during the daytime hours. In addition, the outermost northbound lane of U.S. 2/7 will be closed to facilitate independent utility work between Mountain View Drive and the interstate ramps.

Motorists are strongly encouraged to use caution while driving through the work zone and pay close attention to signage as traffic patterns will change.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
Next week, during the daytime hours, crews will be working on punch list items throughout the project area under lane closures. Vermont Gas Systems will be conducting independent utility work along the east side of U.S. 2/7 between Mountain View Drive and the interstate ramps under a single-lane closure. This independent utility work will continue over the next several weeks.
LOCATION: U.S. Routes 2/7 (U.S. 2/7) in Colchester starting at the Winooski town line and continuing north for 1.05 miles to Sunderland Woods Road.
