Join in the celebration of Reggie's outstanding one-year milestone at Burger King in Leamington! For an entire year, Reggie has diligently managed all of the freezer, fridge, and dry goods stock, ensuring they are well-organized and consistently replenished. Reggie's dedication and organizational skills have played a vital role in keeping the store neat and running smoothly. Let's give a big shout-out to Reggie for a fantastic year of hard work and commitment! Congratulations Reggie!
A Spotless Success Story
Meet Emily! She's been a part of the Tim Horton's team for quite a few years. Emily's job involves keeping the tables clean and making sure everything is nice and organized. But there's more to her work than what you see in the dining area. Behind the scenes, Emily works hard washing dishes, making sure the washrooms are spick and span, and even taking out the trash. She's a crucial part of the team, making sure this location is clean and tidy for everyone to enjoy. Kudos to Emily for her dedication to keeping Tim Horton's a clean and welcoming spot!

Sustainable Fall Living
How to Green Your Halloween
As the spooktacular holiday draws near, it's a time filled with anticipation and excitement. Yet, for some, it can also trigger eco-anxiety. According to a study by environmental group Hubbub, 83% of Halloween costumes are made using non-recyclable oil-based plastics; meaning they are set for landfills. That means, for just one day of use, close to 4,000,000 pounds of plastic waste is generated – which equates to 83 million plastic bottles being thrown away. And let's not forget the millions of discarded candy wrappers!

With these concerning statistics in mind, here are 5 easy ways to make your Halloween a little less scary for the planet:

DIY Decorations: Get creative by crafting your own decorations from recyclable materials or items you have at home.

Reduce Energy Use: Use LED or solar-powered lights for your decorations and jack-o'-lanterns to minimize energy consumption.

Donate Unused Decorations: Share your old decorations with others or donate them to secondhand stores instead of discarding them.

Eco-Friendly or Repurposed Costumes: Create costumes using sustainable materials, thrift store finds, or items you already own.

Green Transportation: Carpool or use public transportation when going trick-or-treating or to Halloween events with friends to reduce emissions and traffic congestion.

By following these eco-friendly Halloween practices, you can enjoy the holiday while minimizing your impact on the planet.
