This month, Dean Nitecki looks at the year ahead and the preparations and programs put in place to ensure the Libraries continues to evolve and improve its contributions to the University.

The Drexel University Libraries is pleased to announce the first appointed 2019 Library Faculty Fellows. These five fellows will participate in pursuing the Libraries’ strategic directions to ensure access to authoritative information with a focus on managing Drexel-generated research output and containing the costs of higher education.

Meet Sabrina Bocanegra, the archival processor hired to arrange, rehouse and describe the Schramm, Inc. collection of company historical records, which was donated to the Drexel Libraries last summer.

Last September, Danuta Nitecki hosted the second series of her Dean’s Kitchen Table Talks, bringing together Libraries staff for informal conversations around the employee kitchen table.

Drexel Libraries' own Larry Milliken was accepted to the seventh cohort of Drexel Leaders 2020, a competitive development program for mid-career leaders that focuses on challenges and opportunities common for leaders at this point in their careers.
