Thousands Celebrate America at Fourth of July Parade & FunFest

We want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate Independence Day the MoVal Way during our Fourth of July Parade & FunFest!

The day began with an exciting parade down Frederick Street featuring all your favorite community leaders, businesses, marching bands, and more! The celebration continued into the evening during the FunFest, which featured thrilling live music, delicious food, fun games, and the best fireworks show in the Inland Empire!

Celebrate Moreno Valley at Our Annual State of the City Address on August 17

In this edition of MoVal Now, we invite you to celebrate Moreno Valley with us during our annual State of the City Address on Thursday, August 17, at 11 a.m.

This year's theme is "Innovation, Elevation, Transformation." Join Mayor Ulises Cabrera and the Moreno Valley City Council as they detail City accomplishments over the past year and offer a preview of MoVal’s exciting future.

Spend a Perfect Summer Night at the MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies Series

As temperatures heat up, there's no better way to enjoy a warm summer night than our MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies series at the Civic Center Amphitheater!

On Thursday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m., honky tonk heroes Silver Lining will bring their toe-tapping blend of country, pop, rock, and Americana to our Amphitheater stage! And on Friday, July 14, at 7 p.m., we'll be showing certified Disney classic Lilo & Stitch!

Schedule Your Bulky Item Pickup Today!

Need to get rid of large items? Moreno Valley has you covered.

The City's bulky item pickup program gives Moreno Valley households four pickups per month for free. Scheduling a pickup is easy—call Waste Management at 800.423.9986 at least 24 hours in advance of your regular service day, and they'll pick up the bulky item for you.

Accepted bulky items include furniture, large appliances, small household appliances, tires, and oversized yard waste such as tree trunks and large branches.

Our Pet of the Week is Jeff, a fun-loving one-year-old German Shepherd Mix. Jeff is full of energy and loves to have fun with everyone. Despite his rambunctious nature, Jeff is very well-trained and understands commands. We guarantee he will be the perfect pup for any Moreno Valley family.
