This teacher education opportunity aims to promote dialogic linguistic education through exchanges of theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of teaching and learning among participants: undergraduate and graduate students in Languages and Education, and teachers of basic education (K12) from diverse subject areas.

Professor Caterina Preda will present part of her work on modern dictatorships in Eastern Europe and Latin America, highlighting Romania and Chile. Professor Dorothy Noyes of the Mershon Center for International Security Studies will be the moderator of this event. With CSEEES Director Professor Angela Brintlinger and Professor Ana Del Sarto (Literatures and Cultures of Latin America) serving as respondents.
