THE AP SUMMER INSTITUTE

During the last week of June, Texas Tech Public Media hosted its third annual College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Summer Institute. This program is a game changer for school districts, as it provides local training for teachers leading AP courses that help students prepare for college. The Institute saves time and money for schools and teachers, and it allows students to save on tuition by earning college credit before graduating high school.

In 2022, the AP Summer Institute saved families over $93,000 in college expenses. It also saved districts over $45,000 in professional development expenses. Now THAT is something to celebrate!

We are also very grateful to H-E-B for their dedicated support of the AP Summer Institute!

Join us in supporting the AP Summer Institute by donating to Texas Tech Public Media today.
