WELCOME MRS. STUART IN 5B

Hi, I'm Mackenzi Stuart, and I am delighted to be a part of the OLQA family joining the 5th Grade team as a homeroom, math, and social studies teacher. I was born and raised right here in Newport Beach. I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2014, where I majored in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language. I have spent the last 8 years of my career in public schools, and I am excited to be starting my private school teaching career here at OLQA. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and son traveling, boating, and skiing.

It's an honor to have the opportunity to educate students through faith-filled learning and rigorous academics. I'm looking forward to the school year and getting to know the students and families at OLQA!

CHILDREN'S CHOIR/THEATER ARTS STILL ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS

Children in grades 3-8 from any school are welcome to join Our Lady Queen of Angels Children’s Choir under the leadership of Mrs. Natalie Van der Roest. The Musical written by our very own Mr. Michael Upward and Mrs. Barbara Brennan. There is an optional Theater Arts component which will present Disney’s Moana, Jr. in January. The first rehearsal for Moana will be Monday, September 11.

Students are welcome to come to a rehearsal to check it out before registering. Our complete Angels in the Arts program includes vocal training in choir, handbell ringing (grades 5-8), and theater arts. To see more information, CLICK HERE!
