Beautiful Service!

What a beautiful day it was for our annual Blessing of the Animals service! Pastor Bob blessed several dogs, hamsters, a chicken and two cats! Some of the children even asked him to bless leaves and sticks that they said were their pets! Pastor Bob did and said, "Jesus never leaves you" and God will always stick with you!" Thanks to all who came and brought their beloved pets. We look forward to this special service each year!

Messiah's very own 19-year-old Partner in Ministry, Katelyn Reed is now an author! Her book, Wisdom form the Whiteboard is now available to purchase.

Women's Hiking Group

All women are invited to join this Saturday, October 15th at 8am for a 5+ mile walk around Large Balboa Island and Small Balboa Island. Invite friends who love the beach and enjoy meeting new outdoorsy walking chums. Your ongoing support of Caring Hands Food Pantry feeds over a hundred families each week. Thank you so much! Please remember we collect donations every Sunday as well as the first Monday of each month.

Sign up to Host a Trunk, Volunteer or Bring Candy

All are invited to our free community-wide Trunk or Treat family festival on Friday, October 28 between 6-8pm! Trunk-or-treat in our safe parking lot PLUS we'll have bounce houses, dinner for purchase (provided by Messiah Fine Arts Ministry), music, crafts and more! Bring canned food to support our local Food Pantry and receive glow bracelets!

MFAM Fall Concert

All are invited to Messiah Fine Arts Ministry's Fall Concert on Saturday, November 5 at 7pm in the Joy Center. The concert is free, but donations will be accepted to support MFAM. Snacks will be served. Seating is on a first-come basis. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Ministry Fair

Our annual Ministry Fair is going to be to on Sunday, November 6 on the patio. This year's theme is GET IN THE GAME! Come out and learn about the various ministry options at Messiah and enjoy each Ministry's "game day snack." There will even be an award for the best snack! It's going to be a fun morning with our popular Prize Wheel and other games, but the most important part will be learning more about Messiah's many ministry opportunities!

Costume Connection is Back!

Take a Costume - Donate a Costume

Our Costume Connection is now open in the Life Center for families through church and preschool! If you need a costume (infant- 6th grade sizes), please check the racks in. You may take a costume to use (either keep it or donate it back after). We are also accepting donations of new or gently-used, clean costumes on a hanger or in a bag, labeled with the name of costume and size.
