Alumni Vocations Recognition at SFD

We hope you take a moment next time you are at the school to visit the beautiful new Vocations Wall, opposite the chapel. This project, made possible with the help of a Class of 1969 alumnus, was designed as a way to honor SFD alumni that have answered God's call to serve the Catholic Faith; it also serves as an inspiration to our students with real examples of vocations. Learn more here about how St. Francis DeSales High School, as well as other experiences, led these faith-filled alumni on their journey to serve the Catholic Church in a religious vocation.

Homecoming Dance Guidelines

As we celebrate Homecoming this week, please be aware of the following rules and guidelines for the upcoming Homecoming Dance.

  • Any student who is bringing a guest must have completed and turned in the Guest Permission form prior to entry.
  • You are responsible for the behavior of the guest that you bring to our dance. He/she must follow all existing rules inclusive of school dance policies.
  • All students must arrive and be checked in by 7:30pm or you will not be admitted to the dance.
  • No one will be allowed to leave the dance until 9:00pm. No phone calls or exceptions.
  • Once you enter the building you may not leave to go out to your car or someone else's car, or meet someone outside until the time of departure.
  • All rules regarding the Dance Policy from the Family Handbook will be enforced. Please read and be familiar with all rules.
  • All students must be in compliance with Dress code rules outlined in the Dance Policy in order to enter the dance. Please make sure that dresses are not too short/tight, that no tattoos are visible and that male students do not wear earrings.
  • Make good choices before, during and after the dance so that everyone can enjoy a great Homecoming Weekend.

See Your Photos in the Yearbook!

We have the ability to use your photos in the yearbook. Go to hjeshare.com and enter the school code 16868. You can download photos straight from your phone to the website.

PLUS: This year we were given access to an online version of the 2022-23 yearbook. Students can download the yearbook as a PDF if they wish to have a digital copy of it; but do this sooner than later because the link won't last forever.

We're all "Pulling" for our Stallions

Returning this year to Friends in the Courtyard is the “Wine Pull.” Guests who purchase a wine pull ticket for $25 will randomly select a wrapped bottle from our Wine Pull table; wrapped bottles are valued from $15 to more than $100.

In addition to terrific wines curated by our volunteer staff and wine partners for the event, we’re asking you to help! How?

Bring a great bottle of red or white wine (sealed, of course) to one of our next two home Football games on September 15 and September 29, and drop it off at our collection area next to the Weight Room, before you enter Alumni Stadium.

Here’s a few guidelines we ask you to follow:

  • Skip the “college” brands - i.e. Boones, Mad dog, Cisco, etc.
  • Bring the best bottle you can. Maybe something you would serve your Pastor or Minister when they come over for dinner.
  • Enjoy the game - Go Stallions!

Every bottle donated helps support our students in all they love to do at DeSales.

Click here to purchase your Friends in the Courtyard ticket, including an option for the Wine Pull ticket!

Nurse's Notes

2023-2024 Sick Policy

Sick children often expose other students and school staff members to illnesses and germs. These illnesses are disruptive to the educational process and to other children and their families. Students who are ill should be kept home to help control the spread of germs.  Please follow the guidelines linked here to help keep our school safe and healthy.

Spiritual Reflection

Lord Jesus, you spent a night in prayer before you announced your disciples and the beginning of our Church. The Twelve placed their faith, hope and trust in both God and man. May I join this group in all its fullness: faith in Jesus Christ, hope in His mercy and trust in His provident care. I ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
