Welcome Back! 

We are so excited to kick off the new school year and welcome back our current and new families to OLGC. We hope everyone had a wonderful summer filled with lots of family time while making lifelong memories.

This school year, we have a lot of fun events planned. Some old favorites like Blingo, Funwalk, and Fashion Show, as well as some new ones in the works! There will be regular communication coming home via your child’s backpack as well as our Tuesday Weekly Update Email and our PTA Calendar posted on the homepage of the school website and our PTA page (www.olgc.me/pta). To make things easier, we added hyperlinks to the PTA calendar for all events so you can simply click, and you will be directed to the specific event details. Please check this calendar often, as we will continue to update it throughout the school year.

We welcome ALL parents (old and new) to join the PTA. There are many opportunities to get involved, and we are always available for anyone with questions. We look forward to meeting everyone on September 20th at our first PTA General Meeting (more details to come), and we hope you enjoy the last couple of days of summer!

UPCOMING EVENTS:

ROOM PARENT INTEREST & MEETING

Friday, September 15th at 2 pm (OLGC Cafeteria)

We are looking for parents from grades PreK3 through 8th grade who would like to volunteer their time, energy, and enthusiasm to be a Room Parent for the 2023-2024 school year. If you would like to volunteer, please CLICK HERE to read the responsibilities and kindly complete this form no later than Monday, September 11th. Once volunteers are chosen, the Room Parent meeting will be held on Friday, September 15th, at 2 pm in the OLGC cafeteria.

We will notify you as soon as possible if you have been selected. Room Parents​ ​must​ ​attend​ ​a​ ​Virtus​ ​training​ ​session​ ​and​ ​be​ ​fingerprinted​ ​to​ ​comply​ ​with​ ​Diocesan​ ​policies.

BACK TO SCHOOL SOCIAL

Friday, September 22nd from 6 pm - 10 pm OLGC School

Please join us for our annual BACK TO SCHOOL SOCIAL on Friday, September 22nd. This event features food trucks, DJ games and music, bounce houses, obstacle courses, and more. It’s a fun night for the entire family.

CALLING ALL GOLFERS - It is time “FORE” our annual Golf Scramble!  

On Friday, September 29th, we will gather at Golden Pheasant Golf Club for what is sure to be a great day. Grab some friends, form a foursome, and come out to support our school. Not a golfer? No worries - come join us for cocktails and dinner. We can't wait to see you there!
