A Message from the Superintendent

As we head into spring break, I find myself feeling deep gratitude.

April 1st marked the end of my first year as superintendent. I am so grateful to be here in Fountain Valley where I have the privilege to work with and learn from wonderful educators, staff, students, families, and community members. In one year, I learned more about leading and life than I thought possible. Thank you.

I will continue taking advantage of every opportunity to reflect and improve so that I may better serve our students and the entire FVSD community in the year ahead.

Spring Break

April 10-14, 2023

FVSD Central Office and School Site Offices will be closed Monday, April 10th through Friday, April 14th and will reopen to normal business hours on Monday, April 17th.

Candyland Themed Dance

Talbert ASB

Talbert ASB students outdid themselves with a Candyland Themed dance in their school's MPR. Students, parents, teachers, and staff were wowed by ASB's visually impressive event decor. Way to go T-Birds!

Cox Elementary Eagles

International Fashion Show

This week Cox Elementary students participated in their International Fashion Show. During this annual event, students showed off colorful and ornate fashion from various cultures to an audience of families, staff, and students.

FVSD Launches YouTube Channel

for School Board Meting Live Streams

FVSD now has a YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@fountainvalleyschooldistrict/streams

FVSD will offer a live stream feed for regularly scheduled Board Meetings. Meetings are held monthly at the district office for anyone interested in attending in person or participating in public comment. Agendas are accessed online here. Visit the FVSD website for more information about the Board of Trustees.

The FVSD anonymous tip line is manned 24/7. You can call or text the phone number, use the QR code or the link on each school site's webpage to file a report. These tips are sent to the appropriate people to help ensure the safety of our students. If you need assistance with your child at school, please get in touch with the teacher and/or principal directly.
