HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION
‘It’s Happening!’
Twenty-four AYA Bulldogs chattered quietly and fidgeted with their mortarboards while eagerly listening for their musical cue at Tiferet Israel on Sunday. "It's happening!" an excited voice among them suddenly shouted and Director of College Counseling Allyn Schmucker began sending each scholar down the center aisle to "Pomp and Circumstance."

We are proud beyond measure of the achievements of our Class of 2023 and look forward to watching them climb higher still as Jewish leaders. Enjoy these video excerpts from a simply beautiful graduation celebration:
Please note: Parents will receive an email in the coming days containing a link for individual graduate photos and more from Glow Studios.

ECP-8TH GRADE YEARBOOK
Lights, Camera ... AYA!
The Middle School yearbook staff presented their honorees — Melinda Williamson (Lower School) and Marni Denn (Early Childhood) — with copies of their cinema-themed chronicle of the 2022-23 school year.
OF BLESSED MEMORY
AYA mourns the passing of our founding Early Childhood director Hanna Lambert z"l — whose loving service spanned 50 years and rooted generations of young families and their precious children in Judaism.

"Being a part of Akiba since it began has been a labor of love and it is indeed a blessing to serve the families of our whole Jewish Community," Hanna wrote as the united home of Akiba and Yavneh academies opened. "As I walk people around the new Schultz Rosenberg Campus, the ‘ooos’ and ‘ahs’ referring to our artwork, our architecture, our play areas and our plan in action, make me so proud. I know what we hoped for in the many years of preparation has become reality. We constructed a place. Inside, we are constructing the souls of the future Jewish leaders of our community."
