Jewish Non-Fiction Book Club |
Sunday // October 29th // 7:00pm // Zoom
For the book club on October 29, we will be talking about Dara Horn's "People Love Dead Jews". (Buy here)
In this book of essays, the acclaimed novelist writes about such diverse topics as the Jews of Harbin, Daf Yomi, and lost synagogues in the Middle East. Ms. Horn discusses how there is fascination with Jews who have died and much less fascination with living Jews. It is a wide-ranging and compelling discussion of anti-semitism and how we address this.
