Dear Parents,

It is completely unfathomable that there is only one week left of our school year then we jump into a summer PASSPORT FOR FUN! It seems as though we were just having our first days of the school year.

I hope that your child had an amazing experience with their teachers and that great friendships were started here. They say great friendships start at Kids For Kids Academy. We have groups of kids in college now, and they are still great friends with those they met at Kids For Kids Academy.

I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations to the year-end teacher gifts. I will be passing those gifts on to the staff next week. Remember, this will be the last weekly letter since it is a short week. We are closed Monday for Memorial Day and Friday for camp prep. Please make sure that you take home all of your child's belongings next week. When they return on June 5th, they will go to a new classroom.

For the summer, kids are free to wear a school T-shirt, or polo all week, and if you need to get more T-shirts, we have them available. Concerning summer vacations, you will see the Friday before a credit is issued to your account, so when it bills, it will cancel out. To avoid being billed for weeks you will be out, if you have not already done so, let us know those dates.

Next week on Tuesday, our VPK classes will be walking next door for a graduation rehearsal, so please be on time, one group will head over at 9:00 and the other at 9:30. For more information, see the front bulletin board for all the details.

If you have not already seen the camp calendar, scroll back, I sent the link on Wednesday. It is also on the front door. If you want to sign up kids ages 3 1/2 and up for Karate or Ballet, the sign-up sheet is also on the front board. Each class meets twice a week for a charge of $14, which will be billed to your account. Weeks you are on vacation, you will not be billed.

Many thanks to the parents of Brown Door for a super yummy lunch this week. I particularly loved the homemade quiche and flan. I could taste that they were made with love...

Finally, mark your calendar for the annual Donuts with Dad Celebrations. June 14, 15, and 16 DONUTS WITH DAD. See the calendar for specific classes.

May 29: Closed for Memorial Day

May 30: Registration installment payment #3 for $80 will be billed.

May 31: VPK Graduation, NO SCHOOL THAT DAY FOR VPK

PURPLE DOOR: 9:30 am BROWN DOOR 11:30 am

June 1: K/1 Assemblies, NO SCHOOL FOR K/1 that day

SILVER DOOR 9:30 am, GOLD DOOR 11:30 am

June 2: Closed for Camp Prep

June 5: Camp Begins, and children change to their new classes.
