Wilmette Institute Courses Inspire Community-Building Innovation

"As an urban designer and landscape architect, I have found that the Wilmette Institute classes—including, most recently, The Economics of Community Building course—are very helpful for my desire to show how we can develop communities according to the Baha’i Nine Year Plan and put into action the advice and examples of our Baha’i founders."

Student Learns Effective Ways to Fight Climate Change in Sweden

"I have given a presentation on Climate Change and Its Ethical and Spiritual Dimensions to my local Baha’i community and interested friends. People shared ideas in small groups about how to live in an environmentally sustainable way. My husband and I have taken further steps to reduce energy demands by installing triple-pane windows, checking the level of insulation in our house, and reducing car journeys when possible."

Student Inspired to Engage in Transformative Leadership through Art

"I highly recommend Wilmette Institute’s course on Cultivating Transformative Leadership. It will change the way you view the world and your role within it. Joan Hernandez and her co-facilitators use a variety of mediums to translate complex theories into easy-to-absorb concepts that build upon each other, not only leading the learner to gain a deep understanding of this revolutionary information but encouraging a thirst for more."

The Beginnings of the

Baha’i Faith in St. Louis

In May 2021, Behrad Majidi was one of three historians who spoke on a webinar about the Baha’i histories of Missouri, Kansas, and North Carolina. We have finally been able to edit and publish his pictorial history of Missouri through the year 1945, with some information about the Baha’i Faith in the state today.

Keep a supply of your staple foods

"...people eat different things, but all of us have our staple foods—foods we eat regularly every day or several times a month. If they are non-perishable or last for a long time, it makes much sense to always have them at hand."
