ACMS Board and Delegation - Call for Nominations

Deadline to Nominate is July 15

The Allegheny County Medical Society is looking for motivated individuals interested in joining our leadership team to develop our Society to meet the future needs of our members and community. ACMS is seeking candidates for the 2025 ACMS Board of Directors and 2025 ACMS Delegates to the Pennsylvania Medical Society.


If you want to make a difference and are interested in participating in ACMS leadership, please submit a self-nomination. If you would like to recommend a colleague, please fill out the form via the link below on behalf of your colleague. If you have questions, please contact ACMS Executive Director, Sara Hussey at shussey@acms.org. Nominations are due by July 15, 2024.

Evidence-Based Prescribing Series - Tools You Can Use to Fight the Opioid Epidemic

In Case You Missed It - The Bureau of Professional & Occupational Affairs Announces New E-License

In this weekend's edition of the PAMED Dose, you may have seen the news that the Bureau of Professional & Occupational Affairs announced that licensees can now download and print their own license certificates. The new license certificate also includes a QR code, which will take you to the PA Licensing System Verification page www.pals.pa.gov/verify, where you can view real-time information about your license.
