Columbus Teddy Bear Clinic Donations

Medical students on our Columbus campus are asking for donations of stuffed animals for their Teddy Bear Clinics. These clinics help children overcome their fear of medical offices and foster health literacy in children and their families. Students plan to hold a monthly clinic at various Chattahoochee Valley Library locations. Through your donation, you will be helping to teach children essential health skills in a fun and interactive way. Donations can be dropped off in the Main Atrium. The last day to donate is Wednesday, May 31. If you have any questions or want to get involved, contact Blake Cromie.

Beating the Burnout

For most students, summer is the time to relax and unwind from school. However, for those in medical school, summer is a time filled with feelings of mental and physical fatigue. From dedication to residency planning, it's no wonder many medical students start to feel burnt out in May.
