Symposium on Quantitative Methods in Life Sciences

Numerous researchers in precision medicine and environmental health gathered at the NC Biotechnology Center on May 8, 2023 for a symposium on QMLS. The meeting was organized by a committee including CHHE members Fred Wright and Yi-Hui Zhou and it was co-sponsored by several NC State groups including the CHHE and RTI International. Featured keynote speakers included Geoffrey Ginsburg, Chief Scientific Officer of the All of Us Initiative, and Russell Thomas, Director of EPA’s Center for Computational Toxicology and Exposure.

New Data Management Consultant David Wright

CHHE is happy to provide a new resource for CHHE members: data management consulting. Do you need help figuring out how to store your data and files so you can find them again? Do you need to identify a schema for reporting data and meta data? Want some help sorting out what should go in your data management plan? David Wright, drwright3@ncsu.edu, can help you get you and your files organized. Feel free to reach out to him to schedule a zoom meeting. David has been helping the GenX Study team get their data organized and it's been great.
