WesternU COMP students don ‘symbol of trust’ for the first time

WesternU COMP celebrated the incoming Class of 2027 with a white coat ceremony held Aug. 10, 2023, in Ontario, California. Students were told to wear their white coats with pride and humility, and to also remember to take care of themselves amid the rigors of medical school.

Three COMP-Northwest students received scholarships from the Northwest Osteopathic Medical Foundation for the 2023-24 academic year:


Student Doctor Madeleine Duncan received a $10,000 scholarship supported by the Shirley Carpenter Endowment Scholarship Fund and the Foundation General Scholarship Fund.


Student Doctor Priscilla Jones received a $10,000 scholarship supported by the Genie Willis DO Woman’s Scholarship Fund and the Foundation General Scholarship Fund.


Student Doctor Cambria Kasten received a $10,000 scholarship from the fund to support students from the LGBTQIA community and donors to that fund.
