Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!

We have begun our search for a Director of Music and Worship Arts! Please visit fpccov.org/employment-opportunities for the full job listing and learn how to apply by October 1st.

We are seeking a Director of Music and Worship Arts who is a servant leader, embodying spiritual and emotional maturity and a call to lead, develop, and guide our church family through musical worship and worship arts. This position requires a self-starter with a creative openness to imagining, planning, and implementing multisensory worship experiences. The Director of Music and Worship Arts will work closely with the pastor to lead Sunday worship services and cultivate spiritual formation through worship experiences. We are looking for a vibrant leader to grow and enhance the ministry for a multigenerational congregation through music and arts.

General Ministry Information

Our WiredWORD class meets in the Gathering Room which is on the upper floor, through the Fireplace Room and near the restrooms. This room is sometimes referred to as "the old choir room" or "the old sanctuary" by long-time members. This class explores current events and discusses how our faith intersects and informs our response.

Our Foundations Sunday School meets in the Adult Classroom which is on lower floor classroom wing at the end of the hall way on the left. This class explores the lectionary scriptures each week, taught by a rotation of teachers.

Youth Sunday School meets in the Youth Classroom which is on the lower floor classroom wing. It is the first classroom on the left, past the restrooms. The class explores the lectionary scriptures each week, often as they relate to the weekly sermon.

Children's Sunday School meets in the Children's Classroom which is the second door on the right of the lower floor classroom wing. Children learn about God's love through the bible, play, and song.

Neeley’s Notions is an email offering that gives Neeley the chance to start a conversation about the inspirations and influences she thinks about while writing her weekly sermon. The email will be sent on Friday mornings when the Spirit leads, and you can reply to the email with your thoughts and stories for Neeley to read.

People to Think About this Week

We are thankful for the hard work our FPC Youth put into painting the picnic tables that now sit in the yard at the corner of Brown and Washington St.

We are participating in the Turquoise Table Project which is an international movement to take time to sit and break bread at the table of hospitality, love grace and friendship.

Read more about the Turquoise Table Project by visiting the page on our website linked below!
