Wine & Cheese, Yes Please!

Did you know that October is Pennsylvania Wine Month? It's also Pennsylvania Cheese month, so what better way to celebrate that with the Berks County Wine Trail's Annual Wine & Cheese Event. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 after the event starts and includes two delicious wine & cheese pairings at each of the wineries on the Wine Trail. The event takes place over two weekends - October 7th, 8th & October 14th, 15th. It's a perfect time to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage of rural Berks County while traveling to the 11 wineries on the Berks County Wine Trail.

Enjoy the following pairings as part of your ticket


Blue Mountain Winery (New Tripoli) - Enjoy two pairings featuring cheese from Keystone Farms

Mountain Spice Apple Wine paired with Cinnamon Apple Cheddar & 2020 Merlot paired with Bacon Cheddar & Olive Oil Crostini


Deerfoot Winery (Shoemakersville) - Enjoy their 2022 Six Point Red Blend paired with Aged Gouda & their Explorer Dessert Wine paired with Blue Cheese


Lily's Vineyard & Winery (Reading) - They will be pairing a variety of fruit & Smoked Cheddar from Conebella Farm Cheese with their Dry & Sweet Pear Wine


Manatawny Creek Vineyards (Douglassville) - They have paired up with Birchrun Hills Farm for two delicious pairings, 2021 Chardonnay with Cheddar on top apple slices & Riesling paired with Fromage Blanc spread on crackers & drizzled with local honey


Ridgewood Winery (Birdsboro & Bechtelsville) - Enjoy their newly released Merlot paired with Cheddar & their Old Orchard Green Apple Wine paired with Pumpkin Cheesecake


Setter Ridge Vineyards (Kutztown) - Enjoy two local cheese pairings - Haven Farmstead Cherub Rock Goat Cheese paired with Secret Lovers white wine blend & Conebella Farms Pizza Cheese Curds paired with Three Sisters red blend


Stonekeep Meadery (Fleetwood) - Enjoy two delicious pairings featuring Conebella Farm Cheese. Wild Gnome Red Wine will be paired with Garlic & Dill Cheddar and Apple & Pear Mead will be featured with Plain Cheese Curds

Bouchette Vineyards located in Bethel has recently joined the Berks County Wine Trail. Their first wine trail event with us will be Wine & Cheese in October. When you stop by their winery, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of whites, reds, rose & fruit wines ranging from dry to sweet.
