SACRED HEART GOLF OUTING

Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Elk Rapids is hosting a Golf Outing on Sunday, September 17, at Antrim Dells Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

The proceeds from the Golf Outing will go toward Sacred Heart's capital campaign, the goal of which is to build a new church that honors the parish's history while providing much-needed facility updates.

A Sacred Heart parishioner and one of the golf outing organizers Bob Chaphalkar and his family are deeply connected to Sacred Heart and have been attending for over 49 years. "My wife and I were married in this church and so were her parents. Our children and many cousins were baptized here. This project has been in the works for years. We want to see the vision become a reality."

Tickets are available now for $100 per person and cover a fun-filled day, including 18 holes of golf, a golf cart rental, and dinner. Golfers are encouraged to sign up by September 10. All are welcome! Golfers can register with a team of 4 or individually. Reserve your place by visiting www.sacredheartelkrapids.org, calling 231-322-3159, or stopping by the parish office at Sacred Heart.
