Shooters...
Pre-reg is now open for the Big Easy, Saturday & Sunday, July 20 & 21, 2024, at Scarborough Fish & Game.
Please read this entire email.
EVENTS
The first event is a 100 bird registered Main event. Earle has promised that the Main Event targets will be a little more user friendly than the State Championships (but don't worry they will still be technical, interesting and fun). Our second event of the day will be a fun one…100 bird registered Super Sporting. Our third event is the always popular 100 bird registered Fluff. We've also added a non-registered 120 bird Triples (3 in the air) event - so bring your auto loader and/or pump. All events will be European start (no pre-squadding - you will squad yourself). The events are the same for both days. The courses will open at 8am and you must be done by 3pm on both days. You can shoot any event first, but everyone on the squad must shoot the same event - please do not mix events and do not shoot both events at the same time, since it creates backups on the course.
SCORECHASER.COM
As you know, we are now putting all our shoots up on ScoreChaser.com. It is easy to create a free account. We strongly urge all our shooters to go out and create a FREE account and become familiar with the ScoreChaser.com website. If you are having trouble creating an account on ScoreChaser, please reach out to their technical support. Need help creating your ScoreChaser account, go to ScoreChaser’s Tutorial Video.
REGISTER
Please pre-register for our events, so that we can get counts for food and stocking of traps. To register, please register on ScoreChaser.com. On ScoreChaser, if you have an NSCA number, please type it into the first field, the NSCA ID field (and press enter) when registering - it will automatically pull all your information from the NSCA database and load your class information. Please select the events you wish to shoot. Also, please be sure to select the day you are shooting (once you click the event you are registering for, it gives you the Option of Saturday and Sunday - this gives us a lunch count). If you use ScoreChaser to register for events outside of Maine, please use ScoreChaser to register for our events.
REGISTERING MULTIPLE SHOOTERS
We've had some questions about how to register multiple shooters on ScoreChaser. Go in and register yourself (if you have an NSCA number, be sure to put that in the proper field on the first page). When you get to the payment page (no payment is due until you get to the club to register in), at the bottom next to the "REGISTER" button, please click "+REGISTER ANOTHER SHOOTER". You will need to do that for each shooter you wish to register. Also, since there is no pre-squadding for this event, DO NOT fill out the squadding information - filling out the squadding information, does NOT register additional shooters in.
If you are registering someone after you have already sent in your registration, go back to the main page of our shoot. Below the green button "My Registration" on that main page, click "+REGISTER ANOTHER SHOOTER".
LUNCH
Lunch will be available all days.
RECREATIONAL SPORTING CLAYS
We are open Wednesdays (9am-3pm) and Sundays (10am-2pm) for public recreational sporting clays. Always best to check our calendar on the website to see if we are closed due to weather.
Well, that's it...hope to see you all at the range for the Big Easy.
