VHC Eventing presented by Capital Square

Friday Update

Lexington, Virginia: It was an exciting Friday at the Virginia Horse Center and results after today’s competition see Laine Ashker [USA] sitting in first place in the CCI3*S after earning the leading score in the Dressage and Stadium phases of competition with Lovedance. The pair earned a Dressage score of 28 and held their lead in the Stadium phase for an overall score of 32 before heading into the Cross-Country phase slated for tomorrow.

Gabby Dickerson [USA] and her own Top Carrera are leading the CCI2*L after the Dressage phase with a score of 22.4.

Megan Loughnane [USA] and her own Lynton are leading after Dressage and Stadium in the CCI 2*S with a score of 28.8. Kim Severson and Cooley Corraghy Diamond are right behind them with their score of 29.2 as they head into the Cross-Country phase tomorrow.

Andrew McConnon [USA] and Jeanne Shigo’s Connery Cooper Z lead the way in the CCI1*L with their Dressage score of 22.3.

Benita Strini [USA] and Plain Dealing Farm's Dassett Evermore are sitting in second place behind Dickerson in the CCI2*L with their score of 27.2.


Cross Country on Deck!


Tomorrow’s cross-country phase will prove to be exciting as riders get to navigate Tyson Rementer’s new jumps and the eye-catching Red Hill jumps that were installed at the Virginia Horse Center for the May event. The manicured fields, rolling hills and surrounding mountains will make this memorable for all!
