New Strength-Focused Parent Development Program to Pilot this Fall
If you parent a 2e kid (under 18) and would like to learn strength-based, positive strategies to help your whole family flourish, you are invited to participate in this study, led by GHF Families Director Dr. Lin Lim and Gayle Bentley, Ed.D. of The Bentley Center. The study will serve as a pilot for GHF’s Parent Development Program, as you are guided through nine weekly 75-minute sessions that are designed to empower and support your family’s goals. Come out and say hi!
We're happy to sponsor SENG's annual conference next week in Berkeley (reg here). In addition to seeing a bevy of GHF "regulars," be sure to connect with Families Director Lin Lin, author Paula Prober, and Professionals facilitator Heidi Lack.
| | |
Catch Director of Families, Lin Lim, Ph.D., and ask about the Parent Development Program, along with partner, Gayle Bentley, M.Ed, or their immensely popular new book, Using Picture Books to Help Little Ones Learn About Themselves!
Keynote, Paula Prober will be working her magic of transforming how gifted folk think of themselves, so be sure to treat yourself to her session, and grab your copy of her foundational classic, Your Rainforest Mind!
Our Professionals group facilitator, Heidi Lack, Ph.D., will be hosting a lunchtime meet-and-greet, Friday, 12:50-1:40, for current and future friends of GHF - location TBD - let's hang out! For more about the Professionals Group, scroll below.
Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity in Education's Graduation Festivities provided plenty of opportunities for GHF Directors and friends to celebrate (congrats again, Kasi!) and revel in each others' company.
