This month, we will be reading "Dinners with Ruth: A Memoir on the Power of Friendships" by Nina Totenberg "Dinners with Ruth" is an extraordinary account of two women who paved the way for future generations by tearing down professional and legal barriers. It is also an intimate memoir of the power of friendships as women began to pry open career doors and transform the workplace.

Tashlich

Saturday // September 16th, 5:00pm //

During Tashlich, we are outside, close to nature (the water, the sun) and to God, with the ability to look up and see the heavens. We toss a small pebble that represents all of our sins, into the water as it symbolically takes those sins away from us. After the completion of Havdalah, we will conclude our experience with our Shofar Service, as we welcome in the new year.

Afterwards, you are welcome to have a picnic dinner with other Temple members. Please bring your own food.
