What's happening this week at St. Paul's

November 5-11, 2023

Upcoming Events & News

Time Change this Sunday: Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 am Sunday morning. Don’t forget to set your clocks back Saturday night and enjoy an extra hour of sleep!

Discretionary Fund: This Sunday the loose plate offering (gifts not designated for pledges, building, etc.) will be deposited into the Rector’s Discretionary Fund. Fr. Jim uses this fund to assist people who come to our church in need of help, to purchase items for the Community Meals as needed, and to support charitable causes.

Children’s Sunday School: Starting this Sunday, we will begin once-a-month Sunday School for the children. This Sunday will be ‘Fun with St. Francis’ in honor of All Saints’ Day. We will be there at 9:30 so parents can attend Adult Sunday School if desired, and come up for church at 10:30 or communion at 11:00 depending on how busy it gets 😊-Suzanne Magouyrk

Adult Sunday School: At 9:30 each Sunday morning we are having a bible study in the parish hall using the Sunday Lectionary (no preparation is needed).

Bible Study: A Bible Study following episodes of the film series The Chosen is being held each Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 in Anglican Hall. We are watching and discussing one episode each week. Please feel free to join us.

Churchmen’s Club Turkey Cook: Tickets are available to purchase in the office for the Holy Smokers Turkey Cook. Tickets are $50 and pickup will be Saturday, November 18th from 8am-10:30am.

Altar Flowers: The last Sunday of the year to supply altar flowers is Sunday, December 17th. Please contact Jo to reserve this date.

Coffee Hour: After the service, everyone is invited to the Parish House (two lefts at the bottom of the steps) for refreshments and fellowship. We promise you will still be able to beat the Baptists and Methodists to lunch afterwards.

Episcopal Church Year Calendars: The new calendars for the 2024 year are available in the Narthex and church office.

Office Hours: The office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am-12pm. Katie will not be in the office on Wednesdays; thus, hours will vary. Please call before coming to make sure someone is in the office.
