A Warm Welcome to All

PPP staff and teachers are excited to welcome new and returning families to our campus of wonder. The start of a new school year is always a busy one!

Drop off begins at 8:50am at the front gate. Families are greeted by preschool staff during drop off until 9:05am. The gate will remain closed and locked during school hours. Families that arrive after the designated drop off will need to ring the doorbell and wait until staff can greet you and escort your child to class. School begins at 9:00am.

Plan to arrive on time for pick up. The preschool gate will be open at 12pm and 12:30pm for dismissal and parents can pick up their child in the classroom.  Please refrain from using the playground after dismissal. Children staying for Extended day will be using this space and we cannot have anyone other than those enrolled for safety, per licensing.

Extended Day dismissal will take place at the front gate at 2pm. A late fee of $10 per every five minutes will be assessed to parents that arrive late.

To ring the doorbell, press the small "bell" icon firmly (not the screen) and it will ring for assistance.

Families should familiarize themselves with the Parent Handbook. It's a quick guide for questions that may arise such as policies regarding snack, birthday celebrations, when to keep your child home due to illness, emergency procedures, parent involvement and other topics you may have questions about.

Questions? Contact the preschool office Monday - Friday; 8am - 2pm.

Extended Day Program

Meet Harry Houdini

Harry Houdini came to us from the Arizona Fish & Game Department. Harry's approximately 21 years old and has his own house here at PPP where he burrows deep into when it's time to sleep. The children enjoy visiting Harry and learning about these desert creatures, their habits and the environment they live in.

Houdini1

Harry enjoys munching on hibiscus flowers, fresh dandelions, and strawberries. If your family would like to bring something yummy for Harry, it can be dropped off in the preschool office. This helps us to monitor his diet and keep him healthy.

Harry Houdini T-shirts

Have you purchased your child a Harry Houdini T-shirt?  We have a limited amount of 3T, 4T and 5/6 sized T-shirts for $15 featuring PPP's mascot and favorite desert tortoise. Place your order online and we'll have it ready to pick up the next time you're here.

Getting Involved

Strong learning communities bring people together.  At Pinnacle, we highly value parent participation in the life of our school.  In the spirit of building a strong community, we encourage every family to participate.  The tuition collected covers only a portion of our operating costs.  Thank you for considering each of these opportunities to meet other parents, help raise funds and get involved in your child's classroom and school.

Cottontails Registration

The Cottontail class is a gentle introduction to our Reggio Inspired classroom environment. Toddlers, 18 - 30 months in age, along with a parent or caregiver learn to play with friends without having to separate from a familiar face.

This program offers two classes on Mondays. The first class meets from 9:00am - 10:15am. The second class meets from 10:45am - 12pm. There is a combined playground time for both Cottontail classes from 10:15am - 10:45am.

Registration is currently underway for everyone and just a few spots remain in the 2nd class held at 10:45. Both classes begin September 11th and registration materials can be found online.

Helping Hands Purse Collection

Since 2002, Helping Hands for Single Moms has assisted hundreds of single Moms in earning a college degree with a graduation rate over 78%. Mom's that graduate from this program will have a major impact on their communities as they move from government assistance and become gainfully employed in their vocation. The annual starting salary for these graduates is over $60,000 - which is a dramatic increase from the average $9,700 income reported on their initial scholarship application.

Starting September 5th, we will be collecting new and gently used purses to donate to Helping Hands for Single Moms in Phoenix. These purses will be gifted to graduating moms this fall. Please drop any donations you have to contribute in the bin located at the preschool entrance.
