The Village at Stratford

Monroe Township, Middlesex County, NJ

There are 122 one- and two- bedroom, existing age-restricted rental apartments at the Village at Stratford. These apartments are restricted to senior households, where at least one member of the household is 55 years or older and no-one in the household is under 48 years of age. There will also be a preference for applicant households that live and/or work in the region of Hunterdon, Middlesex, and Somerset counties. There is an existing waiting list, which remains open. Some types of units have shorter lists than others, depending on the number of bedrooms and the level of affordability. New applications are added to the list on a "first-come, first served" basis.

Summerfield Seniors

Franklin Township, Somerset County, NJ

Summerfields Seniors is an affordable rental community for low- and moderate- income-qualified adult households. At least one person must be 55 years or older, and no resident may be under the age of 19. There is a total of 50 one- and two- bedroom rental apartments at Summerfields Seniors. There is an existing waiting list, which remains open. Some types of units have shorter lists than others, depending on the number of bedrooms and the level of affordability. New applications that are prescreened as eligible are added to the wait list on a "first-come, first served" basis.

The Lofts at Monroe Parke

Monroe Township, Middlesex County

The Lofts at Monroe Parke will feature a total of 66 senior (55+ only) (1 bedroom, and 2 bedrooms) for rent to income-qualified households. A random selection was held for all preliminary applications received on or before 3:00 PM, July 6th, 2023. Subsequent to the deadline, applicants will be processed on a "first come, first served" basis, as long as the waiting list remains open. There will be a preference for applicants who live and/or work in Housing Region 3 (Hunterdon, Middlesex and Somerset Counties). Up to 50% of the affordable apartments may be set aside under the Veterans Preference, depending upon the interest of qualified veterans.

Vail Manor

Parsippany-Troy Hills, Morris County, NJ

Vail Manor, located in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, Morris County, is an existing 55 and older community (no one maybe less than 19 years of age) that offers 35 moderate units consisting of one- and two- bedroom apartments. The affordable housing units are subject to New Jersey’s affordable housing rent guidelines and prospective tenants must qualify on the basis of gross annual income. A random selection of applicants was held on September 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. for all preliminary applications received on or before 3:00PM, August 23rd, 2022. Subsequent to the deadline, applicants are being processed on a “first come, first served” basis. There will be a preference for applicants that live and/or work in Housing Region 2 (Essex, Morris, Union, and Warren Counties). Units will be processed for occupancy as apartments become available.
