Celebrate 78 Years of Conservation with the

Cheshire County Conservation District!

Walpole, NH (September 15, 2023) – The Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD) invites you to celebrate 78 years of conservation at this year's annual celebration!

Join an exciting evening of food, storytelling and connecting with community on Wednesday, November 1st from 6:00-8:00PM at Stonewall Farm (242 Chesterfield Rd, Keene, NH 03431).

This year’s event features conservation stories from community members such as Kim Peavey of Hillside Springs Farm, updates from the Conservation District and partners, and awards for exceptional conservation work presented to Pete's Stand in Walpole as the 2023 Cooperator of the Year and Susie Spikol of the Harris Center for Conservation Education as the 2023 Educator of the Year.

We will enjoy starters and a delicious dinner, and participate in an auction of local items which directly support CCCD's conservation programs. GF & vegan options will be available.

Tickets for the Annual Celebration are $35.00, which includes dinner, storytelling time and access to the silent auction. Advance registration is required. Learn more and get your tickets at celebrateCCCD.eventbrite.com!

CCCD is accepting donations for auction items! Donations are a great way to directly support local conservation, and provide exposure to your local business or product.

To donate an auction item or for more information, contact amanda@cheshireconservation.org or 603-756-2988 x3012

All donations to our auction are greatly appreciated! Thank you for helping make this an exciting event and support conservation efforts in Cheshire County!

The Cheshire County Conservation District promotes the conservation and responsible use of our natural and agricultural resources for the people of Cheshire County by providing technical, financial, and educational assistance. Our goal is to encourage the stewardship of healthy soils, productive ecologically sound farms, diverse wildlife, productive sustainable forests, healthy watersheds, and clean water to ensure those resources are available for future generations. Established in 1945, the Conservation District operates out of Walpole, NH where we work alongside the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and other conservation partners.
