TARDINESS

Successful school progress is strongly correlated to regular and punctual school attendance. In order for students to be successful, they must arrive at class on time and remain until class is finished.

  1. Students are considered late if they are not on the school grounds when the second bell rings.
  2. There will be a five-minute warning bell at 7:55 a.m. (Wednesdays at 8:50 a.m.). Once the 8:00 a.m. (Wednesdays at 8:55 a.m.) bell has rung, a student will be considered tardy and will not be admitted without signing in at the office.

Students who are excessively tardy to school, 5+ tardies, will receive a formal comment on their report card.
