This year, the Fall Conference went to beautiful Knoxville, TN. Approximately 190 TEDC members attended the event this year.

Looking ahead, events planned for 2016 will keep TEDC members informed of the latest economic development activities across Tennessee. Dates for the annual TEDC Day on the Hill and Spring Conference are listed in the left sidebar, and registration for those events will be opening soon.

I appreciate the opportunity to serve as your President and to work with the outstanding TEDC board members who were also elected at the conference. A list of these new board member are included below. I look forward to seeing each of you in February for the "Day on the Hill."

My goals for the year include:

• Regional meetings-time to develop professionally with those who live in our regions of the state. Opportunity to help members engage who may not be able to come to conferences and also to reach out to potential members.
• Increased Involvement-develop a small amount of relevant committees made up of members who want to be involved, but do not currently serve on the board of directors.
• Grow-Have members identify those in their respective communities who could benefit from TEDC membership and we will reach out to them to introduce the organization.
