Yesterday, Coconut came back to LHS for her spay surgery. She is the most adorable little snuggle bug with the biggest purr for such a tiny thing! Today she is cuddling with her new kitten friends while she waits for her new family to come and take her home tomorrow. Who is adopting this special bundle of love? The rescuers who found her at the construction site: A perfect circle back to a happy ending.

Foxtail Barley — Why it is a Danger to Your Dog

This long feathery grass looks beautiful, but foxtail barley seeds have tiny barbs that can attach to your dog’s coat and burrow into his skin, ears and nose.
