As I sat to write this newsletter to you my attention kept being drawn to all of the DRAGONFLIES present in my room. One in particular, seen in the photo above is from a custom painting by Carla Joseph, of "Hummingbear Cree-ations". While there are many meanings wrapped inside that painting for me, a bigger theme prevails:
I immediately think of my dear friend Sheryl, who sadly left us 4 years ago. I miss her every day. A couple of years ago in early June (her birthday) I had a dragonfly hover, dive bomb and circle around me while I was sitting outside enjoying an evening. My thoughts immediately went to Sheryl; is that you? The dragonfly hovered over my lap. It was a beautiful and meaningful validation for me that my friend was indeed visiting. I felt the love fill every fibre of my being. Now as I look at the dragonflies, I know she’s been nudging me all this time. Some of you from my "early days" and previous retreats may remember her too.
Our loved ones send us signs often, what do you notice? Look for the repetition combined with the “feeling” energetically that you’ve had a visit. Visits are unmistakable.
Sheryl was a huge supporter of mine when I first started on this path in 2005 (18 years ago!). I had no idea then what the Universe had in store for me, but am I ever glad I listened to those nudges.
I can still hear Sheryl saying, “you can do it!”.
The learning, healing and energetic expansion since then has been incredible. I'm sure many of you can relate, as you have gone through intense shifts and changes on your own spiritual, personal and professional journeys over the last few years (or decades!).
Let this be a gentle reminder that you are capable of more than you know, and that the seemingly small (and very courageous) steps we take today are navigating you to incredibly powerful places.
Keep listening, keep trusting!
PS: If you find yourself still feeling stuck, or needing some extra support you're always welcome to book a SACRED PATH READING so we can allow your soul, and spirit to guide the way for the steps to come...
