Dear DMA Giraffe Nation,
As we enter week 4 of this academic year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable efforts and dedication that our students, staff, and community have already displayed. Your unwavering commitment to our students and the school's mission is truly commendable, and it is essential that we continue to foster a supportive and thriving school community.
Our school is not just a building; it's a vibrant community that thrives on collaboration, open communication, and unwavering support. As the principal, I firmly believe that when we work together, we can achieve remarkable things for our students.
Your involvement in our school community is invaluable. Whether you are a parent, guardian, teacher, staff member, or student, your contributions shape the learning environment. Parents and guardians, your active participation in PTO meetings, volunteering, and attending school events sends a powerful message to our children that education is a priority.
DMA is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student is valued, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential. Our dedicated team of educators, staff, and administrators is prepared to provide the highest quality education and support to help our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As we journey into the fourth week of the school year, I want to emphasize the invaluable role that your partnership plays in creating a thriving educational experience for our students. I have resurfaced a podcast that I shared over the summer, an exciting curriculum addition that would be added to our children's learning experience. The Science of Reading in the Montessori Classroom with Amplify is a key that opens the door and answers how we can apply research base in a Montessori setting. Amplify and Eureka are designed to provide students with knowledge and enable them to discover learning with elements of support. They also offer grade-level concepts that are outlined in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills(TEKS) while developing thinkers, doers, and life-long learners.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for your ongoing commitment to Downtown Montessori at Ida B. Wells Academy. Together, we create a nurturing and dynamic educational environment where our students can excel, learn, and grow into responsible, compassionate, and successful individuals
—together as we Make A TALL Difference Every Day with Every Child!
