Dear Grace Friends,

I wanted to share some inspirational numbers with you. The video above gives an update on our Transforming Inside and Out generosity appeal through August 30th.

Our midway point gave us the opportunity to invite new people to join us in praying, and supporting this campaign both in spirit and in finances. We are so grateful for the generous commitment of this congregation in leading us into the future.

Grace's Opportunities for Giving

Sand Creek Elementary Needs

Adopt A Family

Would you like to share God’s grace in a very tangible and REAL way this Christmas? Then please consider “adopting” a local family who will be truly blessed by your generosity. Through our partnership with Sand Creek Elementary, we will connect families from our church with local students and families in need.

During November, you will be assigned a specific family for which you’ll be given the age and gender of each family member, along with clothing needs and wish list for a toy or book.

Once you are finished shopping for your “adopted” family bring the gifts to Grace. The school staff will deliver gifts to the family by Christmas. If you are interested in Adopt A Family or have any questions, please contact Jan Margotto at 763-434-4617 or

margotto@msn.com.

Clothing Needed

Sand Creek School is looking for girls’ and boys’ size 6-10 new underwear, and size small to XL leggings or athletic pants with stretchy waist. The donations are much appreciated and the donation box is in the entryway.

Family Promise Needs

Meal Train

Family Promise has started Meal Train to help feed families in the program. It replaces the meals we used to provide at Grace when we hosted families within our walls. The three families listed below are in the Prevention Program. This means they still have a home but are experiencing financial difficulties. Providing meals is one way we can lessen the strain on their budget, so they can focus on other needs, like rent and utilities. Please contact Gayle Pacholl to volunteer at pacholls@comcast.net
