Juneteenth 2024 Programming


Juneteenth celebrates African American resilience and achievement while aiding in the preservation of those historical narratives that promoted racial and personal advancement since Freedom Day. The celebration isn’t over! Customer Intervention and De-escalation Workshop


The League of Chicago Theatres is hosting a Virtual Customer Intervention and De-escalation Workshop on Thursday, June 27 from 4-5pm that is free for all members and business affiliates of the League. This workshop will be led by Long-Time Customer Service and De-escalation Expert, Myra Golden. RSVP here.

Perceptions Theatre's 4th Annual BIPOC Play Fest is running June 21-30, 2024 with works that center and uplift the experiences of our BIPOC artists through their original work.

Works included:

  • First Comes Love by Marie Yuen
  • The New New Testament (an excerpt) by alfonzo khalil
  • Panther Women: An Army for the Libration (an excerpt) by India Nicole Burton
  • Issa Was Here by Makeda M. Declet
